I can't stand it! I fell and have a fracture in my right hand! Of course I'm right handed! Never mind work, I'm an Administrative Assistant or any of that other important stuff! It's my quilting hand!!! I do a lot of my work, well most actually, by hand. I don't even have a ufo that I can whip up on the machine to take the edge off. Several projects in the works but dag nabbit all to heck, I can't work on them. It's so depressing :(. I suppose it could be worse. There will be no need for…

Hi folks, I hope you are all doing well! I have been super busy this summer, seems to be pretty much the norm around here anymore! I have been working on my sister in law's quilt and am now two thirds of the way done. Yahoo! I'm sure you have worked on several that you will be glad to see the end of. I like it a lot, heck I like them all but I am ready for a new project. I have not yet reached the point that I can work on more than one quilti at a time. I mean the actual quilting part, I do…

Hi all! This year has been busy, busy busy! I can't believe that we are already at the end of May. I finished a Breast Cancer Wall hanging for my sister-in-law Becky, and just yesterday finished my sister Jackie's "Country Angel" Quilt. I posted those pictures today. I managed to get my next project (Becky's Quilt) sandwiched, will hopefully pin it tonight and start quilting it tomorrow. My brother's "Fishing" top is ready too so I have another one ready to go after that. After those are…

Hi quilting buddies, I hope you are all well. It has been a long time since I posted. My husband got sick just after Thanksgiving and it just kept getting worse and worse. The fist diagnosis was pneumonia and after almost a month of antibiotics and shots with no improvement, he was sent to a lung specialist. A week in the hospital and a couple thousand tests give or take a few hundred, they found out he has "Blastomycosis". A fungus disease in his lungs. He will be on treatment for a year.… Continue

Hi Gerri! I see you are teaching your little GD's to quilt! I've just started mine too. I love it that she's so excited about it. Every time I finish a piece she says "Gramma, can I have that?" So I finally had to tell her I'll help her make one. I'm a little worried about a 5 yr old's fingers by the needle, but she wants to learn! It's nice to
"meet" you!
Cheryl
