The foundation was printed on interfacing and the fabric was one of a choice of two color combos. I took a class that was done by the designer at a local quilt shop. I made 2 quilts identical to each other for 2 young ladies graduating high school. Found all the fabrics at Bolts in the Bathtub in Lancaster CA where I live. You are not far from me. I grew up actually in the San Fernando Valley (Tarzana).
