Hello there in Canada. How is it going? Are you finally unthawing? We desperately need rain here in Florida. Everything is sooo dry. I really like your profile picture. Where was it taken?

Gwen this is the website for the chocolate brownies. If you cannot get it to work, email me at b.lrichards@sympatico.ca and I will send you the recipe. Yes, the original recipe did call for cinnamon and cinnamon and sugar sprinkled over the top.

Good thing you didn't get that second snowmobile! But, now would probably be the best time to buy one since the deals would be good both because of the economy and because you didn't get lots of snow so your nearby dealerships probably have extra stock they'd like gone. We splurged this year and bought a snowblower!! Whoopee! Finally had to admit that I am getting too old to shovel two and three times a day especially when the piles on either side of the driveway are higher than I am...DH works very long 14 hour shifts so I do the clearing when we are here and at Rocky we have a snowplow for the John Deere so DH does the driveway there.
But spring is almost here...most of the front lawn is snow free and by the weekend I might be able to start work on the front flower garden preparing the beds and cleaning up what mess was left from last fall.
And I am busy working on two new quilt projects so am excited and energized...will work on my UFO's on TUFO night at QWU and the rest of the time will go gung ho on projects that I want to get done asap.
Sounds like you are like me...keep quilting until it becomes impossible to find stuff in the rubble, then tidy everything up so it all looks so nice and then start the cycle all over again??? Isn't that called "being creative"??? Have a great day and I'm looking forward to seeing your other Easter wall hangings.

Good morning Gwen! Our snow is finally melting away and the sun is shining...and if I could have sent some of our snow to you this winter I would have. Although we actually spent last weekend using the sled run for the final time...and had lots of fun, by next week it will be a muddy track down the hill. Do you have your bunny wall hanging up for this weekend? What are you working on now??

Chocolate pudding and 1/4 c. cocoa along with your basic recipe for Amish Friendship Bread. I think that was all that was different. If you want the total recipe let me know and I will send it to you.

Gwen, it sounds like the same recipe. It took a pudding in it and it was 16 and not 12. I miscounted. I made a little bit of every kind but the chocolate brownie one was the best and everyone that tasted them it was their favourite. I made one with pistachio pudding with pineapple and coconut but I wasn't crazy about it. It was okay but just okay.

Good morning Gwen! LOVE the new profile picture! Since it's snowing here again this morning, I am salivating at the picture of you relaxing on the beach under the palms. Just don't get too much sand in your quilting!

I have left the girls on their own today and I have been at home and Mom and I have been baking like crazy. One of the girls I quilt with, gave me 2 batches of Amish Friendship Bread Starter and so today was my 10th day and I froze 2 cups of it and I baked 12 loaves - all different kinds. I will freeze it and we will have it for the next bake sales. There are 2 coming up - one for the hospital and the other for the Seniors Club. Take care and have a great day too!

Had a good day yesterday. Got rid of a couple of boxes so we are heading into day 2. Hope it goes even better today. It didn't seem too bad as I have good volunteers to help me out. I only have to set up today at 10:30 and then work about 5:30 - 8 tonight and the same tomorrow except it will be 5 - 8 tomorrow and Fri. as long as my volunteers are able to do their shift.
