Hey no worries, no prob there Vic...it's not that easy to change out your pg and chat at the same time, lol. I just finished jazzin my pg up to look more autumlike, haha.
I'm slow, lol, as getting excited for Thankful Thursday next week...then comes the weeks of Advent before Christ*mas...so I'm much slower 'tinselling' up my page! :D

Thank you! I really enjoy quilting....and these sampler blocks are so much fun and challenging me! Don't be nervous about SnW...it's really very easy once you get the fabric stacked just right! The 4 patch is super easy and goes so quickly!

Thank you for the beautiful bouquet of flowers. Fifteen years ago on Thursday, DH and I were married. My bouquet was made up of red roses and yellow and orange carnations with fall colored foliage. So your flowers remind me of that bouquet.

Thank you for welcoming me. Love your cat photo! Panda the stray is a tuxedo cat...his faceis all back and he has a white triangle of fur where his nose is so you just see that patch of white when his eyes are closed, almost like he's hiding. He has beautiful green eyes. My other cats are special & since I'm new to this site it's nice to be welcomed!

Butthead has never been a lap cat, he prefers to lay beside me and have his head scratched. He loves to sleep on any quilt I am working on, especially if it is in the frated. he thinks this is his own personal hammock. My daughter and my BIL also have Maine Coons. They are very indeppendent, but also very special.

Hi Vic,
Butthead is lighter in color than your photo. I will try to upload a photo of him. He is getting old now,14, so he is not as heavy as he used to be. In his prime he weighed 21 lbs. H

e was always outdoors when we lived up north, he doesn't like the heat down here in the south.

Thank you for the comments on my quilts and my cat. You are right, Butthead was earned. He doesn't rub up against you like most cats, He hits you head first and hard! It is a Maine Coon cat trait. I will have to post a picture of him next time I get my camera out.

Yes, Glad to be your friend too! Your site is awesome! I live about two hours from Disney... I have not been in at least 5 years now. Shameful! lol... Love your cat! I use to have three cats.... yet with my sons kideny Transplant ( April 2009) he is not allowed to be around certain animals and cats were one of them. Therefore, my cats moved to one of my best friends home. My son does not live with me, yet he lives very close by, and I wanted him to come into the house. I guess I'll enjoy yours! lol Nice to meet you. Hugs Morgan

How’s the machine appliqué coming? Can you still see straight?
I spent some time really looking at your page today and I’m very impressed with your first attempt with a quilt! It looks very ambitious to me and it looks like you did a GREAT job! I can tell you are a true artist. I liked your pictures too, all your furry friends are cute and look like great members of your clan. Are the metal sculptures yours? WOW, is what I have to say. Are they welded?
Anyway, I’m done cooking for the day…err…next 10 days! I’m pooped. Wish I had the energy to sew but that will just have to wait. I’m off to pack and watch a movie with the family. I think the boys picked up WALL-E. I haven’t seen it yet but heard it’s good. Take care & I’ll be in touch. Laura
