so sorry to hear about the migraines. I too suffered from them at one time and they are horrid. mine were not dailt and usually started in the middle of the night and would wake me up. I ahve not been suffering from them lately and hope thhey have gone away . touch wood. I hope they find something for you to take to prevent , they seem to have so many new drugs but always not just what you need Take care Andrea
Jacqueline, eastern medicine works very well for migraines. Accupuncture etc. Also a lot safer than morphine. I encourage you to try a practitioner of accupuncture. You can also buy a hand held "accupressure" machine for self treatment. I had one for my DD years ago as she had migraines too. It was simple to use. There is also a med called Imitrex which is taken to PREVENT migraines. I am very surprised that you are using morphine as it is so addicting and causes withdrawal and more symptoms. I would suggest you see a neurologist SOON to find a better plan for you.
Hi Jacqueline. I hope today finds you feeling good and getting some time to sew.
I am busy putting name tags on some quilts that I am putting into our first quilt show on Sept. 4th. Princeton is having its 150th anniversary that weekend and the quilt show is our part of it. We are only 8 - 10 quilters but we have all been working really hard. I sure hope it is a success and we imagine quite a few people from outside of Princeton will be here for the celebrations.
Hi Jacqueline or is it Jackie? Welcome to QWU from another BC'er. I am in the southern interior and have fibro as well. I have decided that I won't let it control my quilting any more than my bad back can. I am looking forward to getting to know you.
