- Retired after 40+ years of nursing. Love to scrapbook and knit but at the encouragement of my Mother, I gave quilting a try. What an addiction! I thought scrapbook paper was addictive! ha! Lot to learn and would love to find out about quilting by hand, machine, paper piecing and more about applique. Trying to take some classes and work those in as I care for an elderly relative. Glad to have found this site! Love the fabrics.

please pray for my husband for he starts his new job today,,orientation today.
had to spend money on steel toed boots,,what a sticker shock!!! but we found some on sale,,
sorry I missed your birthday,,had too much going on,,we lost one of our members of our church this week,,she was less than 50 yrs old, had a heart attack..so services will be on Saturday, and we need to bake or make sandwiches. the wake is on thursday.We are so tired. off to keep up with the chickens.

HI Janet! How are you doing? It's been sometime since I have caught up with some of my "quilting friends" and I miss hearing what's new....
I see someone mentioned a hidden nine patch, did you make one? I went to a 3 part class, it was great fun and we even got to finish it on the long arm. It is very cool!
