About Me
My interests are mainly quilting. I do have an embroidery machine (Brother PR600). I have an original Hinterberg machine quilting frame and quilt using my Brother PQ1500s. I prefer quilting over embroidery but sometimes combine the two.

I'd love to meet quilters in my area. Drop me a note and maybe we can meet.

Quilting videos!

Posted on March 21, 2009 at 7:30am 0 Comments

While surfing the net this morning I found something that I thought you all would be interested in. I found quilting videos! There are alot of subjects covered. I hope that everyone enjoys them and learns something new from them.

I am so exhausted!

I've been running/doing like I'm the energizer bunny for the last several days. I'm not used to going like this! I'm doing nothing today! We're having leftovers for supper..if anybody wants it warmed they can use the microwave! I'm not the only who knows how to use it, LOL. I would like to go out and quilt but I'm just too pooped to do it. Hopefully after a day of being lazy, I can quilt tomorrow. Today I'm being a couch potato....LOL. I hope everyone has a productive quilting day today....

Yard Sales...

Posted on March 6, 2009 at 8:11am 5 Comments

I like yard sales but I can never find anything good. My mother doesn't even sew and she's always running across deals on fabric. Anyways...this morning, I dropped my daughter off at school and went to a yard sale across the street from her school. I found a Dirt Devil broom (you know, the one that sucks up the dirt so there's no need for a dustpan). I got it for $2! It didn't have a scratch on it...it had been used but gently used. I also got a gardener's stool that has wheels on it and a… Continue

My goodness, QRF. I didn't know you were a member here! The "undies" are adorable! I find it easier to "talk" here than the other Board. You have to be so careful of what you say there. Anyhow, welcome!

I just saw your photo of a baby's 'Taggie' blanket (the small quilt with the loops). Ironically, our Iowa forum quilters have just been talking about a taggie. So another gal tried to describe what a Taggie is to the rest of the quilters. I was wondering if you would be willing to let me post the picture of your Taggie blanket in our forum discussion for the rest of the ladies to see? I am asking permission before I post your photo and if you prefer that I did not post it, I will honor your decision. Your 'Taggie' quilt is a cute and easy project!
