OMG....I just saw on tv that there was a shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut and 27 people are now dead. 18 of them are children from 6 yrs. old. What kind of freak shoots 18 babies? Those poor children in that school have to live with this trauma for the rest of their lives. Please offer up prayer for those who have died and for their families left behind...also for the rest of those children who saw it all. Oh my heart breaks at the cruelty in our world.

I had a great day yesterday, albeit an exhausting one! A few friends and I went on a bus trip to Philadelphia to the Quilt Show. We had several hours to view the quilts and shop!!!! I was a bit disappointed in the show this year...very few "traditional" quilts, but loads of art quilts. Not that they aren't beautiful, but traditional is more to my taste. There weren't loads of quilts entered for judging...lots and lots for…

Jennie, I just read your comments on my last blog. Thank you so much for your kind words and I am so glad my blog renewed your faith. I lost my job in 2001 and dh lost his in 2010, we got through it!! The day he came in and said his company filed bankruptcy, I said, come over here, he sat down, we prayed, put it in God's hands, (this was on a Thursday). He was inspired the next day to go to a company in our town to apply for a job, they hired him and he is still working for them. He is only 4 miles from home. I could write a book about all that happened after that but God never left our side. A lot of it is written in my blogs. He lost his job the end of October and I fell down the stairs the 19th of Dec that same year and had to have 2 surgeries, no ins either. God worked all that out too, all I can say is just trust!!! He will take care of all of it. I will pray for you guys, thank you Jennie!!!! God Bless you and give you favor!!!!
