Jennifer, I might have my stretched Juki sold but will only know when I see the green backs for it later this week. Now my question is this.......are you using a frame for your quilting and if so, what frame? My questioning is this, I doubt if I will sell my frame and I need to get it out of the house as its taking valuable room so if you could use it, its yours for the taking. The catch is this, you have to come get it. I'll help take it down or have it down for you but you have to take it away. Its a Grace Pro frame, wood, sets up from baby to king size. I have it set up at king size and I'm using angle iron for the tracking as the original tracking was plastic and didn't last long or would snap. I'm using EMT conduit over the original poles to beef them up but that's me, its not necessary but you can have the EMT if you want them too. It comes with a fairly new set of Grace Co. marked leaders and 2 set of side clamps. Interested? Oh yes, due to the robotics, there is no carriage as I used the robotic carriage. So some pros, some cons to the frame.
I still have the robotics up for grabs and have lowered the price down to $2500 in case you're interested.
Yes Jennifer, just read the note on my profile. I can send you photos if you'd like but I'll need your email address. I'm asking $2500 for the machine, $3500 robotics and $500 for the frame. Also if you just want say the machine and robotics, I'll cut it down to $5000 and throw in the frame. I also have extra bobbins and needles plus a Towa "L" bobbin tension gauge to go with the machine. As you're in Iowa, I'm sure you could probably pick it up with the help of your hubby and save on S&H.
Jennifer, hello, I see you're in Iowa too though being new I don't know where Waukee is exactly. I'm slowly meeting new quilting friends on this site. Haven't met any in this little town of Carroll yet.
Just checked out a 26" Innova today in Harlan. I've ordered one but not sure if I want the 22 or the 26 as I'll have robotics hooked to mine. Not the AutoPilot which is awesome but another brand which I have on my system now. Just trying to sell mine to make room for the new one. If you know anyone looking to get into quilting without going into debt, send them my way. I have a stretched Juki 18" with or without PCQ/MQR robotics on a Grace Pro frame set up at 129". Will sell separately, parts or together.
Welcome, Jennifer!! I still work in Adel and lived in the Adel area for 44 years before moving south of Winterset. Sounds like you are a busy mom and have an interesting job. You'll find quilting is good therapy/stress relief!
welcome to the group,Jennifer1 You will find we are a chatty bunch. but if there is anything you want to know about quilting, just ask. If no one knows the answer, someone will at least be able to help you find it.
