Good morning, thanks for the comment on the tea bag wallets, here is the web site with the pattern, as you can see I did not go through as much detail, and I wish I would have as the ribbon and rick rack did not last lone enough, Think I should have used maybe velcro.

What's a cattle drive? You can tell I'm a midwestern girl all my life, never been out west. Sounds like hard work!
Today, I was hoping to call on a merchant with the items I plan to sell for my new business. I was really waiting for a special tote bag I ordered on line to carry my goods. Of course, I could have used a tote I've already made or made a new one, but I wanted something that would be weatherproof for winter and esp. now since we've had so much rain. I thought the bag would come yesterday, but it looks like it will be today or tomorrow. So I'm probably up to next week with the merchant.
For today, top order is my allergy shots. I started the shots in January, and I am doubling up right now each week so that I will show some improvement for the fall season. I have been plagued by allergies all my life, and other shots did not work years ago. I am hoping to feel better this time around.
After some other errands, I'll get back to quilting! Yesterday, I made a Log Cabin table mat. Today I'll do one "crazy quilt" style. It's fun to design and create what someone else might like in their home.
Hope you have a terrific day and get to sew also. Happy quilting!
How cute! My "helper" slept all night on my slippers, so I had to use my sandals last night instead! So who's in control?????
Your quilts are spectacular. Do you design the scenes yourself, or do you work off a pattern? I am trying to get into the design aspect of piecework, but it's hard for me to step outside the box.
Hi JoAnne,
I am so glad you asked me to be your friend, I love your quilt picture. What I love about ranching is that it is a family job or business, we work at it together and the success is all of ours even when my kids were little. We are in the middle of cutting our first cutting of hay, late this year because of all the rain earlier, but here in the high desert we always need rain so will not complain.
Oh my dogs Millie and Freckles are both very spoiled also raised them from pups and spoiled them rotten. But they do work hard when they need too. Millie is my DH dog and Freckles is my DS dog when they ride that is who they help, but in the yard they are my dogs.
Thanks for your reply. Your work sounds very interesting. How did you get started? I have thought about doing my own designs by varying some basic nine patch and four patch blocks, but I'm not sure where to begin!
Noticed you joined the business group -- great! We have already begun to share our ideas with quilters who are trying to start a business and those who already have their business established.
Do you already have a quilting business? If so, what type? Otherwise, would you like to get a business started? I have completed the paperwork, etc. to start my business selling items to merchants. Now I just have to get the sewing going so that I have some inventory.
By the way, I see you have a cat in charge. Same here - I am amazed how that little brain and body can have so much influence in the house!

You asked me where I live in Arizona. Sorry, but I live in Illinois. (Are you thinking of someone else).
Your designs are very creative. It must be fun to come up with them!

Thanks for staying in touch!
