I made the bag you commented on in Canada when we lived there several years ago at the quilt shop that taught me to quilt. It was a class but I don't think they publish it. It is designed to take to class with all the rulers and cutting boards.
Wow - you're at Seaside, OR - the one place I've visited on the OR coast....LOL. Maybe we'll have to exchange visits this summer.
Locally, I prefer to get my material at Village Quiltworks, my books at Quiltmania, and spend summer days quilting at Janean's Bernina - she's probably the nicest proprietor and loves having people in there quilting if there isn't a class going on.
When I first got a dog, I spent a week truck camping and went to Long Beach, WA. Found out that Honey didn't like water, stinky dead fish or crabs, flying seagulls, or sand blowing in her eyes...BUT she did like the kites! LOL I was able to go to a conference at Seaside for a few days, but it was right after another conference and my feet hurt so bad. I wish I could have explored the town more. My fellow teacher and me were able to find a quilt shop though in a town just south of Seaside - Cannon Beach, perhaps?
Welcome! I LOVE Seaside, one of my favorite places to go. My husband used to sing barbershop style music and we would come down there for a show every winter. Haven't done that in a while, need to come see Seaside again! QWU is wonderful and you will totally enjoy getting to know folks through their photos and responses. Love your sewing room, kind of reminds me of mine in the cabinet section! Love the puppies too!
