Kara, love your quilts. What beautiful work! Your pup/pups are cute too. Is this the same one in both pictures or is this a picture of each of them? It looked like the same dog to me. Hope you have a very happy birthday, a wonderful day and a fantastic year ahead.

Crazy! is a pattern from a American Patchwork & Quilting Calendar. I called it Crazy! because there is no order to it and I grabbed scraps that I liked. I just posted my new Blooming Nine Patch pics if you want to see them.

Thank you. I believe the squares are cut from 1 1/2" strips; I made this top 5 years ago, so I forget. But the pattern is called Blooming Nine Patch in a book by Blanche Young and her daughter, the book is called Tradition with a Twist. The most challenging part was choosing the fabrics so they would continue to 'blend' into the next fabric. It's all nine patches and then plain blocks, it's hard to tell in the photo just how the design works. I'm going to take some closeups of it and a new full view one to post.

Hi Kara-
The puppies are a Shitzu-Bichon mix. They don't shed and they are very smart, sociable, and active. They were born in Sept of 2008 and they are sisters--
Thanx for asking - Judy
