My first love is quilting, but I also knit, garden, read, and once and awhile I work out. My job is VP of Connecting Threads and I think it's the best job in the world! Where else can one play (work) with talented quilters every day. When my family doesn't get excited about my latest project, I always know someone at work will appreciate my accomplishment.

Hi Karen. Thank you so much for letting people know about my accident. I am finally home. I am basically bed ridden for another 5 weeks. I have been doing a wee bit of button hole stitching on the log cabin quilt that I took on as Oct. challenge. It is almost done but then I will have to wait to the new year possibly to put it together because of my leg. The Doctor thinks it will be 8 months for recovery.
Your job at C.T. is a lot easier than keeping Mari and Darlene in line![I'm guessing!] You all have given me many great laughs. Thank you.

Hi Karen, I have been very bad at looking at quilts for us. Thanks for the B-day wish even tho I'm awful late with my Thanks. I wanted to make 100 quilts this year for a record. I onlly did 77 last year. I hit my #100 on 10-10-09. I have # 110 all pinned and rolled and ready to quilt. I'll have to have my daughter show me how to put some on here so you can see them.
