About Me
I'm 43 years young, and I've been sewing for about 36 years, sewing clothing for my girls, doll clothes and bedding, making stuffed anmials, and making "blankets" here and there.

I never had any formal training until about 1-1/2 years ago when my youngest (sniffle) moved away to ND for college. I started taking some classes on quilting and have learned an unbelievable amount in this time and am loving the learning experience!

ISSUES WITH POSTING PICTURES LAST NIGHT AND TODAY

CT - has anybody else mentioned having problems downloading and posting pix in the last couple of days? I have had no problems until last night - and all of a sudden it gives me the coded text when you press add message - and then it says Sorry, please add message....not sure if anybody else is having issues. Thought I might post it to see if this is system wide or operator error somehow! Thanks!

Karen in Idaho - Newbie to QWU

Hi there! Just didn't seem to have enough on my plate to complete as it was....so thought I'd add the SBS Quilt to the list! Karen, I have friends who have daughters that always have crisis. Some people seem to always be that way, Not much we can do but love them and not jump too fast. It has to be taxing on the nerves. Hang in there and be strong. She may also just be a dramatic person. Hard to know the truth in some situations.

I am sure you are filled with many emotions that will take some time to work through. I had to check in to see who was the "Taz". Hi, Karen... What have you been up to?
My niece is prego and is planning her nursery around Looney Tunes Babies. Trying to find pictures to download in my machine embroidery program for a baby quilt. Thinking about a "snowball" quilt or "log cabin variation". Saw some in Nancy Zieman book. Would be cute I think....

Karen, I left and went to the city ~ and when I got back I couldn't find you~~ all I could find was the lovely little frog. I love it!!!!!! I guess you could say I collect frogs. When my chidren were little and I did ceramics,I made a lot of frogs. Loved them~ then when my kids were grown and they had little ones it became some sor of trdition for them to give me (Nanny Gayle) a frog for any and all occasions. Love them and now I have a cabinet full of frogs.
