It is a small world isn't it? My father always claimed that we were the only Rosskamp's here in the US, but I have found several. My grandparents came here from Bremen, Germany and settled in NYC early 1900's. Marguerite is an unusual name. My Godmother's name was Marguerite and I have met a few. I find everyone wants to call me Margaret. My Dad nicknamed me Kit and that has stuck and it is easier to write - lots shorter. Kit
I really don't consider 10:30 pm to be "late at night". However, I appreciate that site maintenance needs to be done and thank you for your response.
I was just wondering if you have thought about a collection and patterns for Civil War fabrics. I am becoming very interested in the connection that quilting had with the war, but I don't know much at all about the colors and prints of the reproduction fabrics. It would be great to have a collection from CT with this theme. I'm sure many quilters would be interested, since a lot of stores carry Civil War repro fabrics.
Also, I am looking for a good book that talks about Civil War quilts. Can you suggest any?
