Irene asked me to post this as she downloaded a program and got a virus and she hasn't been on the computer for weeks and wants everyone to know that she isn't having any health issues, but wanted me to let all of her friends know, she is ok, but her computer is sick.  Merry Christmas to all.

This last week my neighbors and I dug up 16 (5) gallon buckets of red potatoes, most were the size of 2 softballs together,  Picked 400 ears of corn and got 145 ears froze.  Sent 3 quilts off to the victims of the flood in Minot.  Got blocks done for the next one,  I am all settled in my new home and missing my peace and quiet, my walks out in the country and privacy.  Spent this summer with my twin daughter setting up her apartment and getting her cabinets filled up, as she was in Chile from… Continue

To let all of my friends know, I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in June, and it has been a slow, painful recovery.  I lost my mom in February, and am working hard to overcome this depression/anxiety.  I have made 7 quilts, one is a quilt for Valor, gave it to my friend who has PTSD and 4 went to the Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, and to my best friend who lives on Long Island, New York,  we had about 6 inches of snow, it melted, got an ice storm and inch of snow and that is where we are in the winter and that is enough for me.  Hope all is well with all of you, and if you need prayers let me know, as life can hand you some hard struggles.  God bless you all.  oxoxo Katie

Katie, I'm sorry your feeling so crummy.  I have been praying for you to feel better soon.  You have worked so hard for so long maybe it's your body screaming to slow down.  Take Care and God Bless You.

Katie, how are you feeling? I see you on line but your not chatting.  I hope your feeling better then the last time we talked.  Got any snow out there yet? We got 10 inches last week but it's been in the high 50's and low 60's so it all gone now. Take care and God Bless.

Welcome, new friend.  I'm sometimes neglectful about checking in on QWU but eventually do.  Happy quilting.

Went out to the farm and picked 100 butternut squash, and 10 beach-ball sized pumpkins, and dug up 16 (5 gallon) buckets of red potatoes.  Just carrots are left.  It was 85 degrees yesterday, and this is September in North Dakota, WOW,  Got windows left to wash and look out, fishing and deer season here I come.  Got blocks done for next quilt, just have to get them put together.  God bless all of you.

Good Morning Katie. You left too quick this morning on chat. I went to put my windows down. It's dull and rainy today and it was getting cold in here. I'm hoping to hear this week that my house is sold. My son is in the process of buying it. It's been stressful. We have taken two truck loads to Goodwill and thrown out a bunch of stuff. Will be glad when I'm settled in the apartment. I will miss my space here but will have to make due with what I have.

Katie, I'm sorry I wasn't on when you tried to get me on chat. I had to take my deeds to the lawyer and forgot to go out of QWU. Catch you later.
