I've been sewing since junior high school back in the 1960's. Made clothing back then. Swore I would never be a quilter because it seemed boring. With each move around the country, my clothing patterns got smaller and smaller. (Just what does happen inside those moving vans!?) I still wanted to sew, so quilting it was!!
I retired March 31, 2011. Had some cardiac issues for a few months, then decided to move 2000 miles back to Indiana. What a trip!! Now I'm ready to get into sewing mode! I even hope to work some in a fabric store or quilt shop. I do most of my sewing on a Pfaff Performance 2056. I have an old Pfaff 1475CD that I carry to classes and sewing sessions. Must reintroduce myself to my Brother ULT2003D sewing embroidery machine and to the Husqvarna 936 serger.
My photos are at Webshots.
My hometown is Cincinnati, Ohio. I have also lived in the Maryland and Virginia suburbs of Washington-DC, Reno/Sparks-Nevada, and now back in Indianapolis, Indiana for a second time.
