My thing is pot holders or "grabbers" as a friend calls them. They are quick and very usable gifts. I took apart a very old potholder that a friend was given about 30yrs ago. It was made of folded fabrics centered on a foundation fabric and tacked down by hand.

Being a person that likes to do as much by machine I decided to tack down the pieces on the machine that also quilted the layers together. Playing with this old design has launched my folded fabric craze... I have collected around 15 pat… Continue
