I'm a 39 year old mother of three great kids. My oldest sister introduced me to EPP in May of this year. I am absolutely hooked!
I am currently working on my first project for my daughter Kaity, who is 12. My plan was to just use blue fabrics but somehow it has evolved to blue, green and now purples and I wouldn't doubt that some other colours will creep in also. It's going to be a lot of work but I am up to the challenge....lol.
After looking at other members sites, I am already planning my next quilt!!!
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
Kristeen, love your GFG colours. That quilt for your daughter is going to be gorgeous. I am looking forward to doing my first GFG quilt too. Well hope you have a very happy birthday and enjoy your day. It is cold here today but the little birds are still singing outside my computer/sewingroom window. I am in Marathon, where are you?
Kristeen welcome to EPP. I am like you I have just started EPP and I love it. I have made the kaliedoscope flower table topper and then I made a couple of bowls - working on the second one now and I have joined the flower table runner but haven't gotten it started yet. I love it and I love this group. They are a great bunch. Hope you have lots of fun with us and welcome aboard for a great time in EPP.
Welcome Kristeen! Hope you enjoy the site! Once you start moving about and seeing all the wonderful pictures and read what the bloggers are saying you just may become hooked....... also!
Enjoy! Have a great day.
