This is absolutely great. I am so looking forward to seeing how this progresses. I have been ordering from Connecting Threads for over a year now and just love everything. I even ordered my two daughters some thread this year for Christmas..I think this will also help those who can't get out to see and hear new ideas and interests. Thanks much for this. Lil McKillen

Hi Lil,  Don't know if you'll remember me... I was going to attend the East Gwilly Quilters Guild meeting quite some time ago, and never did make it.  I just bought myself a new Innova 18" Longarm so have decided to finally get more serious about quilting.  I plan on attending the April 24th meeting so hopefully I'll see you there.  Looking forward to making a lot of new quilting friends.

Hi Lil, Just wanted to let you know that unfortunately I won't be able to make today's Quilting Guild meeting as I had planned. My son called me last night with a last minute request to babysit my grandson today - and my little Nathan is about the only person who takes precedence over my quilting activities. So I'll really miss meeting you and the rest of the group but I've already marked the next meeting into my calendar, so look forward to meeting you in February. Have a great meeting.

Hi Lil, What great news! I will definitely try to stop by as your guest then on Monday, January 26. I'm fairly familiar with Queensville - it's only about 1/2 hour drive from my place, so an afternoon meeting should be completely doable. Looking forward to meeting you! Where does the Guild meet? Do they have a website?

Hi, I love the picture of your quilt, black and white has always been an interest of mine, but it is so very hard to find true black and white prints, most have a creamy tint to them. I just finished a paper pieced quilt with a pine tree framed with an attic window . I hope to be able to share pictures soon. Saskatchewan, Canada here

Happy New Year Lil! I too live in Canada but out west in Alberta. I too have 3 daughters, none which have taken up quilting (possibly my oldest might once her kids are a little older). I have 3 grandchildren, two of which live in Norway. I'm hoping one of my granddaughters will follow in their grandma's footsteps. How is the weather out there? Here it is unusually cold for December. I sure hope the new year brings something warmer our way. Nice to chat with you today.

Hi Lil: I live in a rural area just noth of Bradford (almost directly west across Lake Simcoe from Queensville). I don't belong to any guilds although I'd love to... I find it difficult to attend any evening events due to my medical condition so I've made do with daytime quilting classes at Evelyn's in Newmarket. I've never tried any quilt-as-you-go techniques but your black & white sampler has really piqued my interest!
