I didn't have a pattern for the dishtowel dresses. I had seen one at a festival last year that a vendor was selling and this year tackled making it up myself. There are some pictures I posted showing some of the steps of how I make them. Just draw a dress top shape you like for a pattern and then cut out 4. Sew two right sides together for the front and the other two for the back leaving the bottom of each open to turn right side out. The open bottom is where you insert the top of the towel and then sew thur all closed. Do the same for your back dress. Then sew the two dress sections together at the shoulders ONLY. For dishtowels I just take one I like and cut in half. Hope this awas clear as mud at least?
I love the idea of yours for the dishwasher clean/dirty. Now I want to make one with a dirty side and a clean side fo the dress.
