I've been quilting for about 15 years. I started when I met my mentor at work and told her that I wanted to make a quilt. She started me with a double irish chain, which I made for my oldest daughter. I have since made all three of my daughters quilts. Most of which need new ones now.
I got married in March 2010 and gained two more grown daughters, so now we have 5 girls between us. It's a wonderful blended family, and I'm enjoying making more quilts.
I enjoy machine piecing and hand quilting the most, but have started doing some machine quilting and embroidery.

Thanks, Lori. I am trying. Skyler is here, and doing pretty well, but Issiah decided to live with his dad. And the strange thing is, Laura told me she wouldn't want them to live with him. I keep praying he will change his mind. I am talking to him every day. Just light stuff, I think that's better.
Thanks Lori for the good wishes, Surgery went ok but had a litle complication when doc nicked my bladder. I was a "bag lady" for 10 days but got rid of it on Friday. Not kicking up my heels yet but am feeling better every day. Take care. I hope all is well with you.
