Company is in town - quilting is on hold - sort of!

I have had a crazy week and a half, with my niece, her husband and two little ones visiting while they are between homes. Slackers Signature Star Swap

Several of us over at Darlene’s Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler Slackers group (that is a mouthful) have decided to do a block swap. We’ll be swapping 12” finished star blocks and in true Slacker fashion, we’re taking our sweet time about it. We’d like to invite any and all of you to participate. In addition to making blocks for each participant, we’ll each be making an extra block for a charity quilt.

Daughter had the Flu and son got sick Christmas AM I was up with my husband last night, he had vomiting and diarrhea, to the point he had a mild seizure I think. Scared me to death and I am a nurse. Anyway. Gayle has volenteered to quilt it and I can't remember who but someone else said they would put the block together. I was unsure about what to do about batting and backing? any suggestions. You get well ok.
