I've been busy working but I thought I'd post my latest table of my SBS blocks. I'm really enjoying these blocks and learning a lot of techniques too. Fun stuff!
As of Tuesday I'm no longer stuck at home. It feels great to get out, although I haven't hit my LQS yet. I'm sure I will soon!
I've gotten a bunch of new blocks done for my Sylvia's Bridal Sampler, but I'm not going to post them individually. Instead, here's my grid with a black background and all the blocks I've completed so far:

I've been getting a lot of my SBS blocks made while I'm on home confinement. No, I'm not wearing an electronic monitoring device but an IV stand is my companion for about three hours twice a day. I've got an infection and rather than leaving me in the hospital they sent me home to get antibiotics by IV. Fortunately I already had a port installed so it's not as big a deal as it could have been.
Since I'm on home IV therapy I'm not allowed to leave the house except for doctor's appointments. I in… Continue
Lynda, I'm so glad you like my Bermuda Triangles design. I try to do some designs that the men in our lives might like so it is nice to hear that your husband liked it.
Lynda, you are welcome! Rod says, if you have iTunes, go to the iTune store online, & in the search box, type in what type of apps you are looking for, then browse through them, & click on any & if will give you descriptions & which ones will work with what....
I haven't done much with mine yet, played some Majong & Bejeweled, but still getting use to the rest. We even picked up a manual the other day. He read it, said he already knew all that, lol, but it will come in handy for me, I'm sure...
Lynda, here is my tecky hubby's reply to your question! Hope this helps!...

Yes, getting an iPod Touch is essentially the same as an iPhone, without the ability to make phone calls. Most of the apps for the iPhone also work on the iPod Touch. When you look at various apps in the AppStore on www.apple.com the description and information for these apps will tell you if they are compatible with the iPod Touch or not. So, the short answer is yes, you can have your iPod Touch and use the same apps as the iPhone......Rod
Hi Lynda, in answer to question, I have no idea, lol. But, I sent your question in an email to my tecky hubby, so, when I hear back from him, I will get back to you, okay. I'm sure he knows, but like you, I am clueless, lol... So hang in there, hopefully it won't be long, & I will try to ask him later tonight too, in case he hasn't checked his email today...
I love just the names of these blocks, Which quilt book are these from, I've seen the name Lady of the Lake a few times, Sounds so nice. Do you happen to know Karen McTavish -- she is called Lady of the Lake in MI, she is a world famous machine quilter
Lynda,
I was hoping that you could send the Photoshop file to me? I have been trying and trying to figure out how to create the grid for the SBS blocks and have had no luck. I can't get Photoshop on my computer to register. The grid came through but then I can't seem to cut and paste any of the block pictures on to it. I know I am missing some step but not sure what. I also have windows photo gallery. If you can lend me a hand I would appreciate it.
Lynda thanks for being my new friend. I am retired, so there is no reason I can't turn out a couple of new blocks a week. Only been a member for a couple of months. I love this group because of people like you. I really love your grid and now your quilt looks. I started mine but only have five added to it because I really don't have the nat of doing it yet so my DD is helping me. I have 17 blocks now. woo hoo. Talk with you later.
Lynda your quilt is going to be beautiful. I love your colors. It is bright and georgous. I started out calmly but I am getting a lot more different colors now.
Hi Linda,
Welcome to the Quilt Frame. You'll find this a great place for a new quilter to learn and share and contribute. I loved looking through your collection of quilt blocks. I especially liked the one for your sister in law (with the blue circles). Does that have specific name or is this something you actually created yourself. We are so glad you have decided to join us.
