I HAVE BEEN QUILTING ABOUT 26 YEARS. JUST FINISHED JUDY NIEMEYER HAWAIIAN STAR. AM NOW FINISHING NICK OF TIME. DO MOSTLY ARTSY QUILTS. HAVE MADE LOTS OF JUDY MURRAH JACKETS. LOVE TO QUILT WITH BATIKS.

Thanks Mary not sure if I can get to quilt show ,but would love all the scoop on it .Mybe can talk my sisters in to going.We live out in country,Shreveport is 42 m. away,they have a quilt show downtoun on the river sometimenot sure when.

Mary Sue: I think I know who you are. Didn't you and a friend make some vests with cowboy/cowgirl fabric a few years ago? And a clothes line wrap'd purse? I had to quit because the care of my parents took too much out of me. (while caring for my MIL who had lung cancer, I started my patterns business). When Connie said that I couldn't go to Market with my patterns it kinda put the catalist in me quiting. I have taught and filled in often in the last few years but recently they pulled a fast one on me and I refuse to shop there anymore. It wasn 't the first time......three other employees had similar complaints come to find out. Our local guild and I now go to Ephrata to the Fabic Patch as they have 5 more fabric choices anyway. My dad is now in N.C. in a retirement home near my brother and I only have my mom now. Next time you're up here seeing your mom, give me a heads up and I'll meet you at The Fabric Patch in Ephrata and maybe do lunch? Thanks....I didn't know you were on this blog...hurray!
