I'd love to see your landscape projects when they are finished. I've been wanting to try it myself, but can't decide on which technique. I've looked at Nancy Zieman's video, Mosaic Picture Quilts book, and Accidental Landscapes book for inspiration, but haven't taken the plunge yet.

Hi Marcia!
Thanks for the friend invite. I love landscape quilts but do not make them, I just appreciate them. My landscape quilt was my first attempt and was a really quick and easy project that just happened to turn out! What type of art quilts do you do?

Hi Marcia,
I will happily be your friend! You're right, I am VERY blessed to have such a fun and wonderful job, and to work with such great people! I pinch myself all the time because I feel so fortunate.
Happy Quilting!

Hi Marcia,
Thanks for "friending" me. My dad was raised in MA, but I've only been there once - such beautiful country! I'd love to see photos of your quilts!

Hi Marcia, I am also a "Marcia" and a new quilter living in Las Vegas, NV. I have sewn scrubtops for years and have tons of leftover material so I really need to get into doing the quilting thing more. I made one over several years but am going to have to had quilt it as it is "catty wompered" and does not fit onto my bottom piece at all. Any suggestions.

Hi, yes, that's my backyard in the summer that is.... i have two cats, one a stay whom i love dearly and an eight month old Ragdoll named tres. I am using my old cat's name, Cinnamon. My real name is Joyce. I have just started a Mariner's Compass quilt for my daughter, and i might call on you for help. made it though the first one without using paper piecing - mistake - now have made the second one using paper, so it was not so hard. i will send you a picture of it if i can figure out how... lol I have always wanted to visit Massachuettes and Maine, but never got to the east coast at all. Tried to download picture, but couldn't get it to work. Joyce
