I wanted to take a picture of this quilt made with Project Linus fabrics. My DGD, Elizabeth, had to pose with it. The quilt is made using the Warm Wishes pattern. I just love the new PL fabrics. They truly express the mission of PL.
To Kits's Family - I hope that Kit did not suffer at all and her passing was peaceful. There is a great cavern in the hearts of those who were lucky to know and have Kit in their world. She will be missed.
My heart is feeling sorrow but joy as well. Kit is dancing a jig now and has the best sewing machine, quilting center and the most beautiful fabric laced with gold. She has unlimited time, unlimited freedom and unlimited supplies to create the most beautiful quilt she will ever make. Its HER time now!
To Kit's family I send you my condolences. I met Kit and some of the family at Sally Cheney's superstore a couple of years ago. They were having a quilt contest and I had one of my quilts in there. I had fun meeting Kit and one of the grandaughters!! I believe I even met her son there too. What a loving family. I can see the grandaughter following in Kits footsteps, the two of you seemed so close. What she taught you and the love she gave you will always be in your heart. How fortunate you all were to have such a precious mother and grandmother. Sending love and condolences, Linda Sue Robertson, Hendersonville, Tennessee. I would have come to the funeral home but did not see the obituary as we do not take the paper anymore. We cut that expense quite some time ago.
Good Morning Kit. Thanks for commenting on my purse. I would love to see yours. I belong to the American Sewing Guild and it never ceases to amaze me when everyone is doing the same project and using different fabric and colors how distinctly personal the project becomes. Yes, our Walmart still has fabric. They were going to take that department out but we were given the number to call to complain to the powers that be that they needed to leave it here. It's a hudred miles to the nearest fabric store. We have Marden's which carries a large line of fabric but it's a salvage store who buy's out fabric shops etc. so if you run out of a fabric it's likely they won't have it when you return for more. And then we have Walmart.
