Thank you so much! Yes I go to Susie's,though haven't been in awhile. I love her shop cause it is in a downtown square. Love the old places! I have a friend with a long arm and she lets me come over and quilt on it - don't know if I would have gotten back into quilting without it. I'll look up that pattern, that would be neat with ribbons. I have 3 quilts to quilt right now, 2 for my sister-in-laws who help take care of my parents, and one for my 21 year old in college.
The challenge is out, lets see how many of us can join the wonderful new campaign called Stitching for Pink !!! Starts today until 30 October. Its gonna be so much fun with 10 projects to complete. Come on Embroiderers lets unite and join the fight against Breast Cancer !!!
MaryAnn, Thanks for stopping by my page and commenting on the table topper (I'd had that fabric for a long time, too - just never knew what to use it in!), the tote, and the casserole carrier. It's good to know that someone else has adapted the pattern and it still works well. So far I haven't had much time for quilt projects, though they are lined up on my work bench and I'm itching to get to them. I have been slowly working on a hand-quilted twin quilt in my floor frame. I have discovered that I much prefer handquilting in my lap frame. It goes so much faster for me, is more comfortable and I seem to do a better job in my lap frame than on the floor frame. I'm just a little bit stubborn about this one, though and am determined (so far) to finish at least one quilt in my floor frame! :)
Your quilt is so pretty and I love the sashing between the blocks. It is so nice to meet you and I agree with you - quilters are just a nice bunch of people. Blessings! PQ
