I've been quilting since 1984, but have just this past month decided to machine embroider a quilt. We (my two granddaughters and I) are making one from Quiltmaker's Quilting and Embroidery magazine from this past fall. We have just finished choosing most of the fabric and are now starting on the embroidery. It's exciting to learn a new skill and teach the girls at the same time. I have to travel to Manhattan or Topeka to purchase fabric. I envy you living close to fabric stores. Sharon

But, yes we don't winterize our pools down here. We have a mechanism on the pump that circulates the water when the temperature reaches the mid 30's. That way the pipes won't freeze. I've lived in Frisco for 16 years, not too far from the Frisco High School. We moved here when Frisco was still a small farming community.
