- I am attempting to teach myself to quilt through Craftsy classes, YouTube, books, and any other help I can get... I am currently gathering the supplies I need to make a very simple baby quilt for my first grandbaby (due in December). All of this is a great challenge, as I haven't sewn for many, many years. I look forward to connecting with other quilters to learn and hopefully gain new friendships. I am a recent widow, and I would like to fill some of the lonely spots in my life with something new and fun.
