About Me
I'm a decorative artist/designer (painter), have published 10 Decorative Painting Books. I will have 2 more this year, one is a Christmas Ornament book, and the other will be the 7th in the Tuttles Touches series. Many of my designs have quilt themes and details. Connecting Threads' Snow Days fabric line was my design, and Jubilee Garden is the second! I also designed a wall hanging using Jubilee Garden - called Bloomin' Patches.
I was a quilter long before I picked up a paintbrush. I do pattern testing as well as sew samples for Connecting Threads.

Pineapple Pin Cushion

OK, I totally spaced the need to blog about the Pineapple Pin Cushion that Mari designed for me! I just love anything pineapple, and have many in a fun collection. The day Mari was making decisions on the pin cushions she was going to include in the Gifty Galore selection, I told her they were all great, but she needed to come up with a pineapple. I took a couple photos of the beach fun projects in their new home at the beach. I decided that the placemats were safer on the end tables and in the center of the table than letting people put plates on them and eat. Hi Mary Jo, I am sorry that I missed being able to send you a "Happy Birthday" greeting earlier. I do try to do the b'day greets at night because I don't usually get on here until late in the day.
