About Me
I'm a decorative artist/designer (painter), have published 6 Decorative Painting Books, with the most recent, Homespun Touches, making it's debut at www.artistsclub.com. Many of my designs have quilt themes and details. I have designed a line of fabric for Connecting Threads - it's called "Snow Days" and it's available now!
I was a quilter long before I picked up a paintbrush. I do pattern testing as well as sew samples for Connecting Threads.

Mary Jo, John just told me you are the designer of this collection. I am a Santa person but love this fabric. Congratulations on its huge success. You are on your way! I have always said I don't have a "stitch" of artist in me, but I guess my quilts are my artistry. I love your pictures. Your home looks so warm and welcoming. I have a quilt cat also. I always tell people that I gift quilts to that they are "cat tested and approved" and always come with a little proof no matter how hard I try to get all the cat hairs off. I entered a quilt last year in a show and the judge liked the quilt but said I needed to make sure there were no pet hairs..... Whoops! Oh, well. It's on my guest bed and if she thinks it was hairy before.....

He's a beautiful dog--looks like a northern dog?--but the Japanese version--are they a working dog? The only other Japanese breed I've seen was an Akita--they're used for guarding. Love the patchwork Christmas stockings--would be great on a tree or as party favors!!
