Maureen, I just looked at your slide show and your work is awesome. I am always drawn to wall hangings and other smaller pieces....guess I like quick results when I quilt. Love your snowman and the tulip time is gorgeous. Oh and the dimensional butterfly is so cute -- I can't pick a favorite; they are all wonderful.
Maureen, what I so love about this site, aside from the friendships and the ongoing encouragement, is the amazing variety of quilts, quilting styles and the endless colour combinations and patterns. Just an everyday treat and so inspiring!! And I LOVE the way your quilts blend design and colour and have the bonus of so many smiling faces posing with the quilts!! You GO GIRL!!!
Maureen, my Dad passed away two years ago as well and I am planning on doing a memory quilt. One of the girls in our quilting group here brought me some fat quarters of material when Dad passed away. I thought it was great as it was in batiks and I thought it would be a start to Dad's memory quilt. I would love to see your's when you are done. I am hoping to get at mine as soon as I get some of the UFO's out of my way. Take care.
