Maureen, what I so love about this site, aside from the friendships and the ongoing encouragement, is the amazing variety of quilts, quilting styles and the endless colour combinations and patterns. Just an everyday treat and so inspiring!! And I LOVE the way your quilts blend design and colour and have the bonus of so many smiling faces posing with the quilts!! You GO GIRL!!!

Maureen, my Dad passed away two years ago as well and I am planning on doing a memory quilt. One of the girls in our quilting group here brought me some fat quarters of material when Dad passed away. I thought it was great as it was in batiks and I thought it would be a start to Dad's memory quilt. I would love to see your's when you are done. I am hoping to get at mine as soon as I get some of the UFO's out of my way. Take care.

Great! So we can look for you at our Farmer's Market? That's a great place for exposure. Thanks for your nice comment on my quilts. I haven't put many up as I'd druther be quilting. Maybe one day I will. I keep saying to my friends that I'm a block maker rather than a quiltmaker because it takes so long for me to make one block. I figure the one I'm working on right now has about 50 hours in it. Scary, eh? Well, that's why the Baltimore style quilts are so dear. My legacy for my kids, hopefully. They have to wait for me to die first though because I can't bear the thought of them letting their dogs sleep on them. We aren't talking cute little guys like you and I have but rather lovely full sized labs! I don't think so . I'll keep watching for your posts.
