I have been sewing for 50 years but quilting for only 8 years. I am trying to learn to quilt on my embroidery machine. I teach beginners to sew. This started when I worked at a Montessori school. I think I get more out of it than the kids do. I am fortunate to have a husband that loves to cook, clean, do laundry, and shop. No, you can't have him.

Maxi I remember you said you lost a daughter - may I ask how? And I'm not going anywheres -- I'm hear if you need to talk, vent, scream whatever you need to do.
My daughter showed two animals in FFA this year and it's finally over. I'm on the board as the Treasurer so I spent a lot of time working their booth at fair. Now that it's over I can move forward wiith catching up on all my sewing that I have missed out.
On top of work is getting hectic. We are a mere 10 employees and headquarters in Japan has decided to make the company grow to 50 people in the next couple of months to 250 t0 500 and hopefully to 1000 in a few years. I am not sure I want to stay here with that big of a company. Too many rules/benefits get changed. I have never worked for such a big company as that. I am going with the flow right now and hoping that I can keep my manager position in accounting but if that changes then I may start looking for something new. 50 years old and looking for another job is not fun. You hang in there girl -- sending hugs your way and lets keep in touch. I was thinking about you a few weeks ago and thought that I needed to check in with you and look you found me!!!!! Angie
Riasing kids still -- they are wearing me down and out I am still quilting -- no long arm yet -- but still working on all kinds of projects I need to get back on that one that I sent the pattern to you that I got at the quilt show almost two years ago We bought some land in the hill country (15.5 acres) Hoping to move there in another year once the baby graduates high school We are planning on building a barndominimum (?) I will get a second story quilt studio 30' x 30' I can't wait -- I will fillany get all my toys lined up after that is built and once they are all paid for then I want to retire. And do nothing but go to my studio on a dailt basis. We want to raise chickens and quail too! Plus Ricky is going to build an outdoor kitchen so that he can clean his deer he hunts off the property It's located near the Weimar area of Texas.
