Have been quite for awhile-just finished my first rag quilt. Also a picture of a quillow I made for grandson's B'day-trying to do a different style for each quilt I make.

Oops, sorry, I just assumed your friend was a she. That's funny, I have NEVER tried rocky mountain oysters, I just cant. Too nasty in my mind. We don't call chickens yard birds either. The only chickens I know are in my freezer, ready to cook. I bet he was a fun person!

I'm glad I helped you feel inspired to make another quilt. No kidding, that quilt is great! I just spent some time working on a quilt for my grandson, I think it is sooo cute. He picked out the fabric. He sleeps on the top bunk, and the measurements are a lot smaller than a regular twin bed. Good thing I had my daughter measure before I started putting it together, or his big brother would be sleeping in a tent from all the extra quilt from the top bunk! He might like that, come to think. My sister and I used to make tents and play in them all the time. What are you thinking about for your next quilt??
Have fun,

Good Afternoon Maxine; I wanted to clearify what the deal is on the quilt. I didn't want you to be not doing it cause you are confused, cause it is rather simple. All the girls who sign up to do the quilt will do the following. Every lady will cut 128 6 inch squares out of light print and 128 6 inch squares out of med to dark print. When we get the list complet I will let everyone know just how many squares they are to send each lady. After everyone gets there squares from all the girls you will have enough to complete a quilt yourself. I have a pattern and a copy of 9 designs that all the ladies can choose from. There is no color scheme or a time limit on when you have to have the quilt done. When we do get our quilts done we are taking pictures of them and putting them on our photo page. I hope this clarifys the mystery about the project. After reading this message if you feel you still don't want to do it that's alright. We will have more projects along the way I am sure. This is bunch of good girls and talented ones. I don't want you to think I am pushing you into this project I just didn't want you to kind of want to do it but new to the site just got you wondering. I don't want to leave anyone out. Have a great afternoon. Looking forward to talking to you later. Betty
