At 12, I sewed jammies in Home Ec. At 15, Mother encouraged me enough that I made much of my wardrobe in my working years. The next 25 years of farming didn't allow much time for sewing but did teach me the most important life lessons. Ten years ago, my sister introduced me to quilting and it's since been a rare day when I don't fire up the sewing machine and the iron. Quilting inspires any amount of creativity. In my farming years, I learned to never say, "Never," because I always ended up doing whatever it was... :-)
I heard that some of the quilts that you sew are samples for Connecting Threads. So which are some of the quilts?

I loved looking at your quilts. I am new to this group but am looking forward to sharing. My best friend's daughter lives in Vancouver, WA. I have a good friend here in Las Vegas who has an African grey parrot named Bianca. Hope to keep in touch.
I love your ribbon quilts. Why did you take one of them off? Does your african Gray talk? I use to have 3 cockatoo They liked to eat my furniture and they were great escape artist.
