Have a great Thanksgiving Day.
Connie
Got your messages. I've been busy as well. I hope you are doing well today. I just read your post. I hope that you can spend a good holiday with your family. I don't blame you for wearing the masks etc. I have done some of that myself. Just so I don't pick up something to bring to him. Do like I have done. If someone ask if you are sick tell them no that they are more of a risk to you than you are to them. If they were in our shoes they would do the same thing. I know it's hard about the shopping thing. I t feels good to me too when I go out after being cooped up. But it breaks my heart sometimes that he's not able to go in. We are also adjusting to our lives with this. We've actually been doing isolation during the winter for several years now but this year has been the longest yet. This swine flu thing is a whole new ballgame to have to deal with. Usually I've been able to let my parents, brother and SIL come over if they aren't sick on Thanksgiving and Christmas but this year we can't risk that. I pray this swine flu doesn't plan on staying around every year. You definetly have a new friend here as we are both going through similar situations with acceptance of what we must do, but God will see us through. You have my support anytime you need it. I haven't met anyone yet that fully understands what its like. I'm also starting to decorate the tree, he wants it up to look at. What do you do during your time at home? What are some of the things you like? Tv shows etc? My prayers are with you and I'm fixing to check out the recipe!!! Hope to chat soon.
Take care!! Be blessed!!!!!

I have seen your posts and page from the site. Linda is also one of my friends. My name is Sharon. Nice to meet you. I saw that you have an illness that doesn't allow you to go out much and just wanted you to know that I have a son (Danny) that is in the same situation. I know how hard it can be. He is also immune compromised. I also have to limit myself to the public because of him especially right now during flu season. Just want you to know you have a new friend here if you need one. Bless you!

My children are very proud of me, and I am very pleased I have the determination to continue on. You will be just like that too, cause you are right now contending with it, and still working at living and not at giving up. We do all go through the stages of anger, and denial. But the faster we get out of that the better we are at beating it. Your attorneys should have been getting you relief from the creditors and the medical suppliers all along. He is suppose to write letters to all your medical people and to anyone giving you treatment or therapy. It 's hard to know these things. I had to deal with it for 7 yrs, they couldn't label it. Then they were afraid to treat it. I was nearly crazy with depressing prognosis over and over. I got really angry at them and said they were making me worse not better. Thats when I started to really get Dr.'s attention. And when I got involved with my treatments and meds, thats when I started to get see a lite at the end of the tunnel. It took forever, I hated it, I could have just as easy turned over in bed and gave up. Thank God I didn't. Its like He was there telling me what to do, and to be able to do it. It made me reach out to Him more and more. So I know where you are and what you still have to do and get through. They will settle before it goes to court. They won't want publicity. They just want it to go away. They will try to say you didn't lose much living or ability. Many people live with oxygen everyday from smoking. It isn't a living unbearable. you have to think what you did before and show you did it, boating, fishing, swimming, anything, walking for an hour, and that you aren't doing any of those things now because of the lung capacity. Becareful, they will ask you things that will show that you still do most of what you did. You have to show where your damage is very detrimental to your prior lifestyle.
It is a whole different world for you now. Talk to your lawyers, tell them what has changed, even the slightest things are big things to you now. I was an avid down hill skier, I couldn't do that ever again. I couldn't work on a computer and that how I made a living. If the differnt treatments would have worked for me, I wouldn't have lost 12 yrs. I would have been recovering and not existing. So let your attorneys know what has changed. Even things in your private life are affected. Have you done a discertation with the other sides attorney's? They will film you while that is done. They try to catch messing up and they use it to ask you questions.
I am truly happy you are finally moving on it. Your attorneys should tell you all this. Ask them what to expect. I have to go, I promised mom I would be up tomorrow morn for her bath time, they give it to her, but she wants me to be there early tomorrow. Going to bed. Take care Morgan.
