My daughter, Caroline gave me my first grandchild on Sunday Mar 11th, her due date!! Emma Isobel weighed in at 6lb 14oz and 21"!!! She made her grand entrance in the same way her mother did-FAST!! I was at the hospital only an hour before Caroline arrived and she was at the hospital about 1 and half hrs!!!!
Both Caroline and John (SIL) are doing well and baby Emma has her days and nights switched but is doing great otherwise!!!!!!
Here is a picture of Emma her first night…

Thanks, Nicola! I'm excited to be joining the "Grandma Club," too! (I'm borrowing your phrase.) Glad to hear you are enjoying baby Emma. They are so sweet and fun, aren't they?
Going to be spoiled!!!!! He already is!!! Rotten!!!! He is a sweetie pie, taking care of him is like taking care of a baby, he does require a lot of attention right now. No sleeping in right now, he is up with the morning light. Thanks for your comment!!
Thank you Nicola for your kind words to me when Mr Man passed. It meant so much to me, God Bless You and yours!!
Thank you, Nicola--glad you liked the quilt, and all the reaction *has* been a lot of fun.
Thank you, Nicola--it is really good to have the Tetris quilt finished and to have it turn out so well. I learned so much from making it--can't wait to see DD's boyfriend's face when he sees it.
Thank you, Nicola--i'm glad you like the Tetris quilt--it's proving to be a lot of fun. I'm hoping to finish and quilt it for DD's boyfriend's college graduation in May--unlikely, but at least it gives me a goal to work toward!
