About Me: My sewing addiction started with quilts about 10 years ago, when my mom also started the hobby (she had prior sewing experience, but I didn't)...but in recent years I have moved more into smaller projects like bags and household items. I still love quilts, but the small projects are quicker and less expensive, so I can make more of them as gifts for friends!

My pets are awesome!: Minnie, my 11 year old chihuahua pomeranian, who loves quilts as much as I do!

I am playing with other fabrics, but I think this one will be my favorite. The one thing I'd do differently next time is to extend the handles deeper into the bag for more support. I'm concerned these might pull out with time, because only 1/4" was sewn into the bag. I may stitch decorative pieces where the handles meet the bag just for added strength. The color isn't quite right in my picture - the front pocket looks a little pink to me in the picture, but the reds match perfectly in real life. :0)
