Well three weeks of physio therapy and I can put on most shoes and walking is no longer painful. It is amazing what a lime coloured rubber band can do. I still have a wayas to go but can sew at the machine and can stand for longer periods of time without swelling too badly. I put the binding on a french braid quilt and finally put together the indigo stars kit from CT. The binding that was supposed to be in the kit wasn't but I got it so long ago I can't coplain now. I will find something to… Continue

getting better

Well it has been two weeks since I fell and things are improving. I started with some physio therapy this week and it has really made a difference. I can walk without too much of a limp and the redness is starting to ease off. I do have pretty colours on my toes though. I can now sew for a bit and yesterday made my first wrapped clothes line bowl. Not as easy as it looked but I am ready to try another one. I will post pictures.

Thanks to all who sad relax and enjoy the time off. It does get time to catch up on the blogs and to view what everyone else is doing. It does however make me itchy to do some sewing. I can hobble about a bit but don.t miss the meal prep. Maybe I'll take my ice pack and sk DH to take me for a ride to the lake where we can watch… Continue

Olga, I wanted to stop by and thank you for the very nice post to Jeff and I and the good wishes you have sent. I am such a proud Momma to see my son living his life again. He had been on a machine since 2003. Therefore I cannot help share the good news. Thanks again, Hugs Morgan

Thanks of the three he is my favorate, all four pounds of him. I hope that you got out of the house the other day. It can do a lot for your mental health while you wait for the other injury to heal. Here in washington state we have been having a heat wave 100 plus degrees today so getting out and doing anything is not the best of ideas. I know I haven't got much done, just sit and watch tv and wait for the sun to go down and the house to cool off.
