Love your quilts you posted on the UFO site. How do you keep everything flat when quilting? any tips? I usually get a pucker from UFO blocks that are not true.

Pam, I have just been looking at your quilts and they are absolutely beautiful.  Looks like a lot of piecing.  The one that really caught my eye is the Chain of Stars.  I have recently gotten the knitting bug and belong to a local group - and we have such fun knitting and chatting 2 or 3 times a week.  But, one of them is a quilter also and we have been sharing some ideas.  I have a veteran friend who has cancer and i would like to make him a Quilt of Valor - and i am thinking that would be a great pattern.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful quilts.

Pam, welcome to English Paper Piecing. You'll find a friendly bunch of ladies in the group and very helpful. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Thanks for the friend request......yes, I'm hoping the weather allows me to go. Last year my mom died the week of retreat and her services were on that Saturday, so didn't get to go.  Retreats are so fun, lots of fellowship, sewing, and food. I know I can sew at home, but it is a great time to gets lots done and see what everyone else is working on.

I am always amazed at how much you accomplish. Love your quilts!

Hi Pam,

I put a photo of my BOM2011 on My Page.  I got the idea for the second border from one of your quilts!  I think it was a good "borrow".

Hi Pam,

That quilt is incredible!  It is one of the best quilts I've seen.  Definitely my kind of quilt.  Is it a pattern?
