We also saw the launch in March, very cool. Last year, we were in Orlando for the shuttle launch...it was breath taking. Very brave people!

Thanks Pat for the link, the instructions look easy to follow. Now that does not mean easy to do. I think I will be doing some practicing before starting a project. A pillow is a great idea and do-able in a day or so. When done it sure is very pretty!.

Hi Pat, I found this cathedral window pattern at a quilt show I went to. They had put it together in a kit and I loved how it looked. When I first read the instructions I couldn't understand them so I put it away. A couple years later (yeah) I got it out determined to figure it out. I worked my way through it and realized it was easy to do. The pattern just had hand drawings and was a bit confusing that's why I decided to take pictures of the steps.

Hi everyone! The quotes in the middle of my blocks were from www.easyaspiedesigns.com She has many quotes, not just Bible verses to pick from. Have a great day!

Hi Pat... I agree your prayer quilt is very touching! Beautiful. I love the colors you used to put it together too. As I am reading some of the comments. How do you sew together the cathedral windows? I have only hand sewn them in small projects they are very pretty but can take a long time :)

Hi Pat: Your beautiful prayer quilt really touched my heart. Not only is your quilt gorgeous, but the prayers are so edifying. I am in the midst of making my first 8-pointed star, so I was fascinated to see what you had added to the middle block: prayers! Thanks for your great idea! Take care and blessings to you. I added your quilt to my favorites for future reference.

By the way, I just finished a baby quilt to be raffled off at an Oregon Right to Life fundraiser.

Hi Pat! Thank you for all of your great comments. I know so many people who love the cathedral window but are too intimidated to try it. When I got this pattern it took me a while to figure it out but once I did I kept thinking if they only knew how easy it is they might try it. One of the quilters on here encouraged me to take pictures and you have seen the result. Thanks again for your feedback. You are a blessing too! Be sure to put up some pictures of your project, ok?
