Hi Pat - I didn't really spend very much money at the quilt store with Jamnut from Saltspring Island! Under $20. On the other hand, she spent ... uh ... more than that! We would like to meet up again. She was on her way to a quilting class so we did not spend very much time together. She is less than an hour from here, if I time the ferry schedules correctly!
Maybe you can join us on Saltspring Island sometime!

Hi Pat and Michael! I hope you enjoyed your cruise and that all was well when you got home. I enjoyed our evening very much and would love to hear about your meeting with Pat in Alaska. I have signed up with a group on this site called Hearts and Faces Connect which is for people who met on QWU. I told my side of the story - now you have to sign on and tell your side!!

I will bring what little information and photos I have.

Your hotel is just a couple of blocks from where I used to work and there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance from the Four Seasons. Would it work for you if I were to meet you in the main lobby of the Four Seasons - say sometime around 6 pm on Thursday? I will send you my cellular phone number and another contact number in your "inbox" on this site.

Pat - I would love to meet you! I will arrange to be in Vancouver next week. I am having my first cup of coffee of the day - and am not quite awake yet. I'll send a more detailed reply later today. I am looking forward to meeting a cousin and will bring some photos and a copy of the family tree that Robbin Battison made if you would like to see them.

Hi Pat I have had a few problems with the Transplanted Brits etc group. So Karen suggested to start again. So I have cancelled it and set it up again but it has to be approve. So watch out for the new "Transplanted Brits,Quilters who have live in UK. or are living in UK." I think that covers quite a few people. Also I have put a photo of an English Country Thatched Cottage, so you'll know it is our group. You'll have to sign up again but you'll be able to invite friends in England. Thanks for being patient. Hi Pat I've been watching for you to join us on the Brit site. If you have any other friends in the UK that blog introduce them to this site and the Brit site love to get a blog going but until we have people join we can't get going. LOL. Happy Quilting.
