I live in a 40' motorhome with my husband, our Australian Shepard Buddy, and our cat Whiskers. I enjoy teaching my granddaughters to sew. My 10-year old granddaughter completed her first quilt this past summer.
Quilting in a motorhome has provided its own challenges--not the least of which is where to keep my stash. I've recently discovered "quilt-as-you-go", which is the perfect method for my limited space.

I picked up my bright flannels from a quilt shop (or two) found through www.quiltshops.com and did a flannel search. I think all of these were Modas. Lindee's graduation quilt (with the black background) were bought at my LQS, but they were a line called "jelly flannels".
Hi Pat, hope you are having a Happy Birthday. When I saw it was your birthday it jogged my memory of you asking about my granddaughter's Edward and Bess quilt. So I rummaged through my bookshelves. The pattern came out of a Patchwork & Quilting magazine around 2002 or 2003. My girlfriend shared this me, we each made one so I am not certain on the date of the publication. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I think that was around the time my MIL passed away.
