Hi everyone, I hope we're all working on green quilts today! I'll be working my regular hours, so I'll miss the big parade, but we'll find some fun throughout the day.

Is it like reverse hibernation or something--I've been buying fabric like the mills are closing!! Never fear, I'll find ways to use it up, though. There's a quilt shop hop coming up at the end of April here in Northeast Ohio, so I'd better make room for even MORE fabric. Better get sewing--have a great day!

Hi everyone!

Welcome, Pat! Thought you'd enjoy this site. Lots of inspiration on here. Just look at the slide shows! Check out the clubs. (Lots of members in the UFO club. lol) The beauty of this site is the fact that it's part of Connecting Threads. Just about every book has the "see inside" feature, so you always know what you're getting. I joined the "Let's Do Lunch" club, but the table runners I've made are all at my DIL's houses, so I don't have any photos of those. (And I try really hard not to me a nagging MIL!) Hope you get as much enjoyment out of this site as the rest of us. ; D

Hi Pat! I couldn't help but noticing your shirt! Did you pose for the United Way posters in your area? The background looks like what our background does on our posters. I work with the United Way in Minneapolis. In addition to working, I love to quilt and read. I try to do one or the other for enjoyment each day.

Hi Rainey..nice to meet you.. what fun to be a children's librarian!!
you are like every quilter.. even us that make them have enough for as many life times.. but you never know what you will be in the mood for so better to have different ones on the ready.. quilt stores have not had the ingenuity to be open 24/7 for us quilters that wake up in wee hours. and to order online is great but it still takes a day or 2 to get it..LOL welcome and hope you are able to get into those projects soon with viewing everyone else's work you may not be able to resist my longer..
