About Me
I just bought the Pfaff hobby 1200 grand quilter and the next generation frame. I already have the bernina 730e and my husband has a bernina 200 upgraded to the 730e plus a few other sewing machines and sergers. I've just started quilting this past year and want to be able to create designs on our quilts. I've made my first tote bag from a class using charm squares and my first table runner from a class also. I've taken a quilting 101 class and thats the most I've done so far.

Advice on Pfaff Grand Quilter and next generation frame

Posted on March 24, 2009 at 11:57am 3 Comments

I've just purchased this unit and we are still rearranging the area for set up. I know that a leader can be used and the fabric attached to it. Can this be home made or does it have to be purchased? Does any one have any advice for this very new quilter?

I have the same set up and I posted some photos of the leaders and tubing on my site, also the shelves instead of the plastic they give you which really helps with the stability. Hope they help if you have questions just ask. Julia
