Patty, I see you are close to where I live here in Clintwood, Va. We have used Abingdon Hospital over the years. I did manage to stop at the fabric shop on Main Street a couple of times. We bring our granddaughters to the dentist there also. It is nice to find a quilter close to my community. Alpha
Hi Patty, and welcome to our Appalachian quilting group. I see you are in Abingdon. We go through there on our way to Vermont and home. It looks like a nice place. Maybe we'll have time to stop and explore one day. I'm in Maryville, just south of Knoxville. We have a small group that meets twice a year for shopping and lunch. We started in Johnson City, and today went to Jonesborough. I hope you can join us next spring. We'll start talking about it after January. Let us know if you are interested and when you have time. ra57 is a nurse also, and she will be glad to have someone else to talk to! I'm Navy Wife (now retired) also known as Linda. Welcome. Let us know if we can help you in any way.
