Thinking of how great it would be too sew all day! I am working on my christmas projects, and my daughters BD in Dec. I found a great panel, called "always my daughter" www.blockpartystudios.com It is a great panel with lovely sayings to a daughter. The incredible Laural Burch

For some reason today I was thinking of Laurel Burch, she has created some of the most beautiful fabrics. My granddaughter is working on a quilt with her fabrics. anyway, i was at a quilting store, another gal and I were discussing Laurel Burch. She reccomended that I go to her website, what a treat. I would highly reccomend it to anyone. And be sure to check out the 6 minute clip of her on 60 minutes. She is inspiring to all. I just feel that Laurel is a kindred spirit to all crafty women.

I am sure your friends will love the fruit ladies fabric, too. I should buy more of it, I love it, it's so whimsical. The first time I saw it, I said, I have to have that for Beverly! And when I showed it to her, she loved it, and started pointing us out. She's hilarious.

I live in Coaldale in AB, 2.5 hrs. E. of Calgary - - and where do you live?

I first learned about quilting approx. 20 yrs. ago, but didn't have time to pursue it as I worked full-time! But now that I am retired (for 2 yrs. now) I finally have time to take it up again!
