Getting ready to use muslin for the first time...not thrilled. It will be the center (signature section) for the block swap I'm doing. Since it is kind-a white should I pre wash my other fabrics? I'm not a huge fan of pre washing as you well know.
If you click everywhere and often you eventually figure things out. Can't believe you've never eaten at the Blue Goose. It's been a restaurant for many years I'm told. Meat and three during the week and burgers on the weekend and breakfast all the time. My husband and I have breakfast with his parents every Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
Steve went to school at Goodpasture so he may not know your sons. The dogs are indeed part great pyrenees. Moose has the double dew claws on his hind legs. They just dangle, it's so funny. He's about 130 lbs at last weigh in. Bubba is about 80 and Reggie (short for Regina) is about 65 lbs.
Royce and I try to get together and quilt once a month or so. Eat some good food, drink a glass of wine and chat all day, and of course we sew. I used to be a member of the Lakeshore Quilters group here in Hendersonville, but had to give it up to work outside the home. I'd love to see some of your award winning Auction quilts. I'll give you a call and we can all get together some time. Great to have you as a new friend.

Paula, you have already done it right. My picture is on your friend page so we are now officially friends on CT's. I would love to get together and quilt. My favorite thing to do. I have never eaten at the
Blue Goose. All these years in H'ville and I have never eaten there. that is hard to believe.
I still have a question about the dogs. What are they? Are they Great Pyrenees? They are just awesome!! I am going to ask my sons if they know your husband. I have 3, Randy Andy and Brandon and they all graduated from H'ville High.
I have a couple of friends I sew with from Portland and we get together now and then. I am working on a project now for Home Bound Meals for donation for their Silent Auction at the Pancake Breakfast in October. Last year I made a quilt and it went for $500.00. This year I am making a couple of lap quilts to be auctioned. I will send you an e-mail here on your home page with my phone number and maybe we can get together soon, I would love to meet you and Royce both!!!
Paula all of the groups on CT's are listed on the main page. Go to the top left corner and click on groups and there are 4 pages of groups on there. I didn't see the one you are talking about but you can look through there and see if you see it. There are so many great ones you can join. I was in the Southern Stars quilt along and made that quilt this spring. I loved the finished product. It turned out great. Hope this helps you find what you are looking for. If for some reason you cannot find it, just put in a blog post, you will find out really quick that way and get to know lots of people!!! By the way I live on Lakeside Park Drive so I am really close to you if you live on Gail.
Hi Paula, what kind of dogs do you have, they are awesome!!! They look so happy sitting on top of you!!! I bet they are not spoiled much are they???? lololol Great to meet someone from Hendersonville!! I do not know about the group you are speaking of and if I look now I will lose everything I have written down. My memory is short!! lolol I will look again and then send you an answer back. We are close in age, I am 58 and have lived in Hendersonville for about 39 years. My boys grew up and went to Hendersonville, High School and all live in surrounding towns. I am going to put in a friend request and then we can send e-mails through CT's. Nice to meet you!!
