Hi,
Around here it usually cost around $100. to have a quilt finished. It depends on size of course. I had a queen quilted and bound a few weeks ago and it was $133. I know it is expensive, but I haven't mastered machine quilting myself yet... Sounds like the quilt for your grandson is going to be cute. I found a paper piece pattern a while back for weiner dogs that is really sweet. One of these days I plan on trying it...

Hi Penny,
I am working on my little boy quilt, I have found some cute dog blocks that I think I will miss in with his soccer balls, and kind of mix a theme. They just lost their boxer about 2 wks ago and I cried and they cried, she was so special, they rescued her as a pup, from the buyer that used her as a junkyard dog. Boxers don't have a mean hair on them unless they are taught that, she was the most gentle and loving dog. She lived to be 11 and that is 2 yrs older than the breed usually lasts. I still look for my blk lab.
Hows the quilting going?

Hi Penny
Yes, I forgot about the short haired Fox Terrier. There is a wire haired one too.
I am working on starting a little boy quilt, a grandchild. I have to do the colors in navy and tan, but can add anything else as I usually like to have the colors pop. He is 4 and wants have one with soccer balls. That is an easy request, but he has bunk beds so eventually he will say he needs two. He has 2 sisters, and they both have a quilt, and some wall hangings as well.
I am happy to meet you, I love quilting. Quilting is my only real craft. I can't afford to have 2 with one being quilting. I love that Connecting Threads came out with their line of fabrics, I wish they would have more romantic theme lines & patterns and colors. I am not a fall or dark colors person. I still love their feedsack reproductions. Hugs,Susan/IA

Penny, I love your picture of your little white dog, what breed is it? I thought it might be a Jack Russel, but it could have some Corgi because of the ears.
I am a dog lover, I have a Shetland sheep dog, Shelty for short, called Buddy Boy. I just lost my blk Lab, she was 13. I hate to see them get old, its like losing a child.

Hi Penny
I am a newbie to EPP, but not to quilting. I have been quilting since 89, I started out with a cheaters panel, and got hooked on the stitching, it is a stress buster for me. I love doing hand work, so I hand quilt.
I have not done any EPP yet, so I am excited to get started. I have done foundation piecing and really love it. I try to dabble in all of the new and different forms of quilting, and just love the whole thing.
Nice to meet you, Penny
