I'm back Online!!

I have had an interesting month of computer problems!! I finally threw in the towel and bought a new computer! Thank goodness I backed up all of my files on an external harddrive before my computer crashed!! I am up and running and my sweetie has his computer all to himself once again!! LOL

This new computer is a dream!! I went from Windows XP to Vista without too much of a hitch!! I was able to reinstall my XP software - ie: embroidery design software, embroidery machine software and upgrades,… Continue

Computer Crash!! YIKES!

I have spent a rough couple of days - I usually leave my computer on 24/7 but I was going to be away all day Saturday so I decided to turn it off and give it a rest! When I turned it back on Saturday evening I got this really wierd message that something or another was missing, hit any key to continue - well, nothing happened!! I nearly had a stroke!! I thought my hard drive had crashed!! I can't tell you how much "stuff" I have on that computer - my whole life!! Over 1000 photos - all my machin… Continue

Finally I have a little bit of time on my hands!!

I have been incredible busy these past couple of months!! I do manage to read all the posts each day and even make a few comments!! I have not taken the time to sit and compose a blog post until now.

I have managed to complete some projects - I even got one finished in time to display at our state show, Maine Quilts, which was held this past weekend. I still have quite a few ufo's, or WIP as I like to call them!! I have 3 queen sized, 2 lap sized and 2 tabletoppers ready for my longarm -… Continue

Good morning Barb, thanks for the information on the hacker. People will do anything to rip people off. I'm glad you gals was quick to spot her and notify the top brass in here to get rid of her. I seen her post in my inbox but by the time I came into QWU you had taken care of her. I thought her name was strange but never actually seen what she posted so was curious. Thanks again ~ Irene

Hi Barb, Nanny of Quiltie Gifts mentioned that she received the directions for the chicken pincushions from you and that you might be willing to share. I did see that you had a couple of types of chickens in your photos. Would you share with me or let me know where I can get the pattern. You do some very good work. I love the yellow and blue quilt, especially. Kit

Thanks for your input on the Tin Lizzie. With the cost difference around 2000 it is a hard decision to make. I really liked the LS I tried at the show in Spokane. I also liked the PfaffGrandQuilter18 .It was basically the same except I did like the frame a little more. The Pfaff and Tin Lizzie are made in the same factory and run the same. Nearly the same features. My friend and I both have Jukis on handiquilter frames. Mine has a Cruise control. We want a bigger stitch area but do not want ot buy a 15000 or more priced machine.

Hey Barb, would you like to test my pattern for the Cami Bag? I can make one in 45 minutes, but of course someone doing it the first time will take longer. If you can tell me how long, I was hoping to pitch it as a one hour project. lf you want to do it, send me your email address and I'll send you a pdf.
