I have been quilting since the 70's. I'm self-taught, so looking forward to getting some advice on how to do things easier, better, etc. I don't do hand-quilting anymore since I've had carpal tunnel surgery. I like to find pictures of quilts I like and re-create them. Would love to learn how to design quilts using my computer.

I like to use picturesof quilts from websites, etc. for inspiration. Some of my best ideas come to me this way. My best tool is my computer. Just the basic excel or word programs are great for keeping track of ideas and inspirations. This way I don't lose them. I date the page and then describe with as much detail as possible what I want to make. This is a good way to keep track of supplies on hand, dates of purchase and passwords to websites. Hope this helps.!
